Background:

Using my teaching and legal backgrounds and experience in the security industry, I decided to apply for a franchise and centre status from SAFE-Edexcel for teaching those wishing to join various professions such as the Security Industry, Care professions, etc. We were eventually given a Satellite Centre Status to offer statutory training such as those for the SIA Licence. As an organisation we have ongoing training programmes that last 4 days followed by an examination which then can lead to BTEC and NVQ certificates.

Business Start Up Growth:

We are applying to EDI for further licenses to train in other areas including Social Care.

Our enhanced office space in Central London’s 344 – 354 Gray’s Inn Road, King’s Cross WC1X 8BP means that we are now ready to launch our next and related project which is  Teachers’ Recruitment Agency and Learning Centre for EBD students.

Business Achievements/Awards:

Our advertisements have appeared regularly in such major jobs, training and recruitment papers as the London Loot, Jobs Week, Recruit and Jobsite.

We have upgraded our office space three times in as many months which reflects our rapid growth.

The response from the market has been overwhelming and from Monday 2nd August 2010, two graduates from the Graduate Internship Programme are joining our team.

We are training candidates on a regular basis and acting as an Examination Centre.

Our related venture of Teachers’ Recruitment Agency and Learning Centre (EDB) starts business on 2nd August 2010.

MySecurity Training, Recruitment and Services on how Make It Happen has helped:

“Make It Happen certainly helped to focus my thinking, particularly on Entrepreneurship and challenged me to deploy the resources I already have to create a business system or systems instead of wasting time looking for a job. Now I laugh when I remember what I was ready to settle for in the form of a job.”
